1. Assessment & Testing
Performance testing is the foundation of effective coaching. To design a training programme that truly works, we first need to understand your current conditioning by identifying your physical, physiological, and biomechanical strengths and limitations.
All training programmes begin with a comprehensive assessment of your training status. This includes physiological testing to establish your fitness profile, as well as a biomechanical assessment conducted through our affiliated Biokineticist. The outcome is a clear performance profile that allows us to design a fully individualised training plan aligned with
your goals. Regular reassessments are encouraged to track progress, maintain motivation, and ensure
your training remains effective. Because athletes respond differently to training and recover
at varying rates, ongoing testing helps balance training stress and recovery while maximising
physiological and muscular adaptations. Cycling-specific testing includes a Functional Threshold Power (FTP) assessment, performed to volitional fatigue, along with the determination of your Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (LTHR). These values establish your baseline fitness, expressed in W/kg, and are used to accurately set your training zones. A detailed biomechanical report and, where necessary, a rehabilitation programme is provided to support performance and injury prevention.

2. Coaching Services
A R250 administration fee applies to all coaching packages. This includes a one-on-one
consultation with Coach Nadine, either face-to-face or online, to discuss your goals, training
history, and specific needs as an athlete.

The serious athlete
R1600 per month
This training option is ideal for the athlete who would like to improve their performance and race with confidence.
The training option includes:

The duathlete

This training option offers the same service as either the serious athlete’s package or the slightly obsessed athlete package, but the focus is on improving both running and cycling performance.
Structuring of swimming activities is included if needed.

3. Mountain bike skills coaching lessons
Get the most out of your bike and the trails with elite-level coaching from experts in both XCO and marathon disciplines.
We offer individual and group sessions, cycling academies for school kids, and training camps for major events. All coaches are certified by the Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association (PMBIA), ensuring expert guidance and safety.
